I know that title might make some people stop for a second. Some people may read it and think, “Yes they are.” Others who do this work may even think, “Yes, I am.”
But when I say psychics, mediums, and tarot card readers are not special, I do not mean their work has no value or that it does not take skill. What I mean is that I do not believe these abilities are reserved for a small group of people who were chosen to have them.
I believe we are all born with intuition. We all have the ability to sense, notice, feel, and pick up on things in our own way. The difference is that, as we get older, a lot of us stop paying attention to it.
Why We Forget
Sometimes we simply stop using that part of ourselves. Sometimes we are taught that intuition is silly, strange, impossible, or something we should not talk about. Over time, we learn to ignore those little feelings and impressions until eventually we may not even recognize them anymore.
That does not necessarily mean the ability is gone. It may just mean it has not been used in a long time.
Think about any other skill. If you stop practicing something for years, you are probably not going to pick it back up and immediately be great at it. Intuition can be similar. It takes attention, practice, patience, and learning to trust yourself again.
How I Started Learning
I did not start out knowing everything I know now. A lot of my early learning came from free videos and tutorials online. YouTube was actually one of the places where I first started learning and exploring all of this.
Eventually, I found a mentor, and he taught me more than I could have imagined when I first started. But even then, the point was not that somebody gave me a gift I did not already have. The point was learning how to recognize it, work with it, and practice it.
There are many ways to learn if this is something you are interested in. There are free videos, online classes, books, communities, and places where you can learn in person. You do not have to spend a fortune just to begin exploring your own intuition.
Why I Built Free Practice Tools
I know this next part could sound like a sales pitch, but it really is not meant to be one because the site is free.
I have built a website with free classes and practice tools because I genuinely want people who are interested in intuition to have somewhere they can learn and practice for themselves. I am constantly adding to it and trying to make it better.
One of my biggest goals is not to make people feel like they will always need a psychic, tarot reader, teacher, or anyone else to give them answers. I would much rather see people learn how to trust themselves, practice their own intuition, and discover what they are capable of.
You Can Learn Too
That is really the point of this whole article.
Do not put psychics, mediums, or tarot readers on a pedestal and assume they were born with something that you could never have. They may have more practice. They may have spent years learning how their own intuition works. They may use different tools or receive information differently than you do.
But I believe the ability to develop your intuition is already within you.
You may not do it exactly the way someone else does, and that is okay. The goal is not to become somebody else. The goal is to learn how your own intuition communicates with you and then practice enough to recognize it with more confidence.
And do not forget: you are perfect just the way you are.
